Trying to download images from a card to my Mac into iphoto. I go to file and look for “import pictures and videos” and it’s not there. All I can do is what is highlighted in “file” which is : NEW ALBUM, NEW SMART ALBUM, NEW FOLDER, IMPORT TO LIBRARY, SWITCH TO LIBRARY, REVEAL IN FINDER AND CLOSE WINDOW. What am I doing wrong that “import pictures and videos” dosen’t come up when I select “file”? David F. Scholl

I think your getting Adobe Lightroom and iPhoto confused with one another.
In iPhoto the correct choice is (Import to Library)
