FYI – Merritt Island Activity Report

Hello LCC Members,

On Monday Jeff and Dorrie stopped by Merritt Island here is their report.

Monday morning at 7am Dorrie and I went into Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge.

The weather man said rain, fog, overcast and cool……….well, it was cloudless, dry and warm with and amazing sunrise!

After riding around for a whole 2-minutes we came upon 20-30 Roseate Spoonbills. The rest of the trail was just as good!

We ate lunch at the Dixie Crossroads and it was fantastic!

We are looking forward to another fantastic trip up there in March and already made our reservations.

Please e-mail a short paragraph or two and 5-7 photos about your local trip to lighthousecameraclub@gmail.com and I will post it here on the Club Website.
