Next Club Meeting is April 9

Hello LCC members,

The next meeting of the Lighthouse Camera Club will be on April 9, at 6:00 pm, at the North Palm Beach Library.

It will be a great meeting and a great presentation by our own Paul Rampolla and his topic will be “From Bad to Better “

The theme assignment for the month is BIRDS.

Dorrie and I will be out of town that week so you MUST get me your images for the theme by SATURDAY, APRIL 6!

Send all images to jefforns@comcast.net as attachment, not embedded in the email, and send at 72 dpi with the long side at 1200 pixels.

Hello LCC Members,

On Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 pm we will meet at SAWFISH PARK IN JUPITER (immediately south of the Bridge on Alternate A1A) which is a great spot to shoot moonrise and the Jupiter Lighthouse, for those that care to dine afterwards we will then go to the DUNE DOG for dinner.

Scrub Jay Walk Jonathan Dickinson Park 8:30am on Friday March 29

Hello LCC members,

Join Bill LaFlamme‎ for a Scrub Jay Walk at Jonathan Dickinson Park 8:30am on Friday March 29.

After driving past the entrance, instead of turning right and driving to the rear of the park, turn left toward the campground. Before you reach the campground, there are parking spaces on your right hand side. You can’t miss it. That’s where we will start our walk.

Hello LCC members,

Our next meeting, tomorrow night Tuesday, March 12 at 6:00 pm at the North Palm Beach Library.

The program for the March meeting will be a presentation by Wedding Photographer SARAH LARSEN

Our March class on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00 pm will be ‘How To Photograph Lightning’ presented by Bobby Wummer…………and that should be spectacular!

We have two field trips planned for March!

On Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 pm we will meet at SAWFISH PARK IN JUPITER (immediately south of the Bridge on Alternate A1A) and for those that care to dine we will then go to the DUNE DOG for dinner.

On Friday, March 29 at 8:30 in the morning we will do a Scrub Jay Walk at Jonathon Dickenson State Park which will be led by Bill LaFlamme.

Our monthly assignment is ‘MEMBER’S CHOICE’; please send me jefforns@comcast.net 5-8 images of your choice, with a 72 DPI resolution and the long side at 1200 pixels. Dead line for submissions is Sunday March 10
