Hello LCC members,
The print workshop last Saturday was awesome!

Thank you! Paul Rampolla and Don Hamilton for organizing the event with Bedford Camera, Canon and Hahnemuhle Fine art photo papers.

 

The class was very well done and packed with information on how to get the best results when printing images.

The  Hahnemuhle paper presentation was fantastic! We all learned that choosing the right paper type that suits your image is an important part of printing.

Each class participant was able to have 2-images printed with the Canon PRO-1000 or Pro-10 on Hahnemuhle paper. 
For those who were not there there are some special offers on the Cannon PRO-1000 and PRO-10 printers that cannot be beat. The Pro-1000 prints media up to 17″ wide and the PRO-10 prints up to 13×19 these special deals are available through Bedford Camera.
As well Steve Elkins VP of Bedford Camera also gave the club a discount code which is good for 5% off cameras and accessories.

We have a private Facebook Group here is the link Lighthouse Camera Club Private Facebook Group

This is a place for our members to post creative, inspiring images that you have shot and share them with the group. It is also a place to ask questions, post images for critique and connect with other members.

Remember our next learning opportunity is on July 25 Time 6pm at the North Palm Beach Library.

We will be doing more with the ON1 Software and as always we are always open to any questions you have about anything photography. Bring your camera and laptop with ON1 software.

  • BRING your Camera and Laptop if you have one with ON1 Photo Raw 2018 installed on it.
  • We will also discuss image capture techniques for anyone that has specific questions.

  • This session will be hands on Q/A about Basic Camera Operation
  • Also for those that still have questions about ON1 Photo Raw 2018 i.e Exporting Images, Adjustments etc. 
  • BRING YOUR CAMERA and Laptop if you have one with ON1 Photo Raw 2018 installed on it.

NOTE:  If you are having specific issues with your camera please bring the manual if possible.

THE MONTHLY ASSIGNMENT IS ‘MEMBER’S CHOICE’; PLEASE SUBMIT 6-10 IMAGES YOU SHOOT OF YOUR CHOICE TO jefforns@comcast.net BY SUNDAY NIGHT, JUNE 10

ALL SUBMITTALS MUST BE ATTACHED FILES, 72 DPI RESOLUTION WITH THE LONG SIDE AT 1200 PIXELS.

OUR PROGRAM AND GUEST SPEAKER WILL BE OUR OWN TERI ROBERTS WHO, ALONG WITH OUR PRESIDENT SANDY WILL GIVE A PROGRAM THE ART OF POSING FOR PORTRAITS.

This session will cover the following:

  • ON1 Photo Raw 2018
  • We will also talk about Exporting Images, Color, HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo capture and post-processing. 
  • We will go over the example image that was sent out for you all to process any way you want in ON1.

Bring your camera and if you have a Laptop computer with ON1 software bring it as well. We will also discuss basic camera settings as well.
